Are you passionate about getting climate and gas on the federal election agenda? Then we need you!
With the federal election just a few weeks away, we have a golden opportunity to grow the community movement for climate action and demonstrate that support to political candidates.
How are we building power? We’re banding together to knock on hundreds of doors to have much-needed conversations about climate and energy, and raise the profile of gas as a key voter issue in Curtin, a critical, marginal electorate.
Join our doorknock in the Curtin federal electorate Saturday 5 April from 9-11am starting at Abbett Park Reserve, where we'll be growing community support for action on climate one household at a time.
On the day, you can expect to:
- Meet other nature and climate activists from across the Go Beyond Gas movement
- Put your climate conversation skills into practice
- Raise awareness about Woodside's dangerous gas expansion plans
Never doorknocked before? No worries! We'll tell you everything you need to know on the day, work in teams, and help each other out along the way. And if you're really not keen on doorknocking, we'll have some other simple actions you can take on the day to build support.
We can't wait to create change with you.
