Go Beyond Gas is a community movement of groups and individuals in Western Australia campaigning to solve WA’s biggest contribution to the climate crisis. Acting together, we can build the community power necessary to shift the politics of gas in WA, stand up to the biggest polluters and bring down emissions in our state. Are you in?

Our network
Go Beyond Gas is made up of a diverse network of grassroots groups and local communities campaigning for bold climate action in WA. We have local action teams in Perth, Fremantle, Joondalup and Rockingham.

Our principles

environment and communities. - We oppose the expansion of the fossil gas industry and support an urgent, responsible
transition to renewable energy. - We are creative and courageous.
- We are welcoming, inclusive, and committed to building a diverse movement.

- We engage respectfully with each other and all those we encounter in our work.
- We value credible, evidence-based policy.
- We are non-partisan — groups in the network do not endorse or campaign for political parties and/or
candidates.
Go Beyond Gas is a network of campaign groups supported by the Conservation Council of WA (CCWA). Go Beyond Gas groups are independent groups with independent views, and undertake autonomous actions that are not attributable to CCWA.
