As part of our Six Weeks of Action, join Go Beyond Gas Fremantle for a social letter writing workshop and take action with like-minded people in your area.
WA’s Minister for Climate Action and the Environment will soon be deciding whether to approve Woodside’s plans to process gas at the North West Shelf, Australia’s oldest and most polluting gas processing facility, until 2070.
Not only is 2070 at odds with WA’s 2050 net-zero target, but we are already feeling the impacts of climate change right here, right now. Climate action can’t wait.
Put your concerns, fears and love for the planet on paper to show Minister Whitby why WA must keep gas in the ground!
Personalised letter writing is a simple yet effective way to communicate with Minister Whitby to let him know that the North West Shelf plans until 2070 are not acceptable.
This Action Session includes dinner, a letter writing workshop and community mapping (optional).
Pens, paper, soup, bread, tea and coffee will be provided. You are welcome to bring a vegetarian or vegan plate of food to share if you wish.
