Maylands State Electorate Doorknock

Are you passionate about getting climate and gas on the WA election agenda? Then we need you!

With both state and federal elections coming up in the next few months, we have a golden opportunity to grow the community movement for climate action and demonstrate that support to political candidates.

How are we building power? We’re banding together to knock on hundreds of doors to have climate conversations and raise the profile of gas as a key voter issue. Imagine driving around your neighbourhood and seeing a sea of signs everywhere calling for stronger climate action. It’ll be a great show of solidarity and show politicians how strong we are together!

Go Beyond Gas is holding a doorknock in the Maylands state electorate (Perth federal electorate) Saturday 22nd February from 9-11am starting at Grow Cafe & Garden, where we'll be amplifying our calls for action on climate one household at a time.

On the day, you can expect to:

  • Meet other nature and climate activists from across the Go Beyond Gas movement
  • Put your climate conversation skills into practice
  • Help distribute our free Go Beyond Gas yard signs (and collect your own)
  • Raise awareness about Woodside's dangerous gas expansion plans

Never doorknocked before? No worries! We'll tell you everything you need to know on the day, work in teams, and help each other out along the way.

We can't wait to create change with you.

Go Beyond Gas Team xx
