ON THURSDAY 7 DECEMBER AT 8AM the Perth community will gather for a snap action as fossil fuel company Woodside is imminently about to start seismic blasting for a massive new gas field in endangered whale habitat. 

Seismic blasting can seriously injure whales and potentially kill other marine life. 

Yet Woodside plans to do this for up to 80 days to assess gas reserves for its Burrup Hub, which if it goes ahead will be Australia’s dirtiest fossil fuel project. 

It will bring together concerned people from across the community for a snap action outside Woodside’s headquarters to show that Perth is opposed to Woodside’s destruction of our oceans and climate. 

Wear black, bring a sign.

Please meet at 7.45am at Florence Hummerston Reserve, Corner of St Georges Terrace & Mount St, Perth WA 6000. 

Gather here, grab a sign if you don't have one and then at 8am we will all walk over to stand outside Woodside’s HQ at 11 Mount Street (approx. 50m away). 

Event will be finished by 8:45am.
