Should it get the green light, 50 wells will be drilled as close to 2.4km from the reef, putting endangered species such as pygmy blue whales, dusky sea snakes and green sea turtles, at dire risk— not to mention the impacts on our climate.

This decision is among the most critical environmental and climate issues Australia faces.
