Supporter businesses are essential to increasing people power and pressuring politicians to make policy and legislative changes. We want to bring climate activists within workplaces on a journey to learn about and take part in our movement and campaigns. This can be done by keeping supporter businesses regularly updated, providing upskilling and training, having one-to-one conversations and delegating responsibilities. Also, partnering with businesses means we have a wider reach amongst workers and a strengthened movement as we begin reaching industry.  

Supporter businesses opt-in and opt out of different supporter actions, and may do some (or all) of the following:  

• Share Go Beyond Gas materials at workplaces, stalls, on social media, or to their email lists 
• Attend and support Go Beyond Gas events 
• Encourage staff and customers to engage with MPs and share GBG asks and materials 
• Participate in coordinated actions
• Display flyers in your practise
• Contribute financially
