Ten weeks after being given a ten-day deadline to respond to proposed conditions on the North West Shelf processing facility extension, Woodside is still locked into closed-door negotiations with the government. Environment Minister Murray Watt refuses to consult the public on his preliminary decision.

Meanwhile, the company plans to drill for gas beneath Scott Reef — which would put threatened species at risk and allow the North West Shelf to keep emitting until 2070.
