Tangney Climate Action Team Meeting & Sign Blitz

Join the Tangney Go Beyond Gas group on Sunday 13th April from 2pm-4pm at the Riverton library and become part of something big!

Tangney Climate Action Team are a passionate group of residents who advocate for stronger climate and nature protection. Tangney is a key marginal electorate in this 2025 Federal election. We're using visibility tactics to raise the profile of climate and energy as key voter issues and show politicians that the community wants action on climate!

At this meeting, you can expect:

2-3pm:

  • Meet other nature and climate activists in Tangney
  • Discuss local climate matters
  • Make action plans in the lead-up to the Federal election

 3-4pm:

  • Be part of a sign blitz! We have 100 signs with renewable and solar messages to get out around Parkwood, Canningval, Riverton, and Willetton. Increasing the visibility of these signs will help show community support to keep nuclear and gas out of our future!

The climate is changing rapidly and we're all feeling the effects. While climate change can sometimes feel too big to tackle, taking action is the key to having hope in the face of adversity.

Together, we can make a real difference for our collective futures!

Please RSVP to confirm attendance. You just need to bring yourself. Anyone is welcome, so feel free to bring a friend or two 😊

See you there!
